Scheduler view link to timesheet improvements
There are a few issues stopping us from using the scheduler currently. These are as follows:-
- When you add time onto the scheduler, it cannot be removed from the timesheet view. Whilst it is good to see planned time vs actual time, there is no option of hiding or removing the planned time.
- Tasks on scheduler view do not tie in with tasks on the timesheet view. If you put in a freeform box of what work you will be doing on the scheduler view, it should match what you want to put on your timesheet.

Hi, thank you for your suggested ideas.
For the first point. To provide a bit of background: The workflow is designed so that scheduled time appears as suggested time on the timesheet. This is majorly helpful for users when completing timesheets. If a user needs to change or alter the project detail, we have the option to switch booking category.
For example, Scheduled on Project (Design) under Booking Category (Development). The user can opt to switch out the Booking Category and enter the actual time spent on the project against the relevant booking category (BAU).
However, if you have not worked on the project you are scheduled on, then there is no current option to remove this suggested time. This would be a rare workflow for most users. However, we can have a look to add the option to do so. This will still remain in your scheduled time across dashboards, scheduler, reports etc. Perhaps you have reach out to support to detail your workflow in general, see if they can help you further - hello@hubplanner.com
With regards to point 2: The Tasks feature on Hub Planner acts as a checklist function for users in addition to the project booking. The project booking is where you will detail most content of what is required. The workflow I would suggest is to use Booking Categories to assign your tasks better. You can create different rows under booking categories and this can help track your time better and subsequently your analytics. I hope this helps. Again, please feel free to reach out to Support should you have any further questions around this topic.
Thank you,
