  1. upload project and client images via api

    In our daily use, it would be fantastic if we could also store a logo (image) for each created project via API. Currently this is only possible via manual upload. It would be even more convenient if we could assign an image to the client via api, which would be inherited by the corresponding assigned projects if no image was uploaded to them.

  2. Maximun hours input in Reportet Time/Timesheets

    An error message appears (or it is blocked) if more than 24:00 is entered in the timesheet. This eliminates typing errors.

    Even better, the maximum input can be defined in the settings. Our business rules says, that you cannot work and enter more than 14 hours per day.

  3. Resource Confirmation/Changes

    Realise that many users may have requested some form of 'undo' button if a project is mistakenly moved or removed from a resource.

    Would it be possible to be 'prompted' to confirm if a user moves a project from one resource to another and also if they chose to delete a project from a resource?

  4. manage the hours budget of each resource allocated to a project

    It would be great to have in project master data the possibility to enter the budget hours allocated to a specific resource in addition to the total budget hours for that project. This will allow the project manager to keep track of delta's at resource level of hours scheduled / reported.

  6. The project name to appear in notes

    I think the previous version had this feature. I would suggest having the project name in the notes section of the project. I know it is under the 'information icon' but the main page we look upon is the notes, so including the project name there would alleviate going back and forth.

  7. Enable global filtering of custom fields

    We have noticed that you cannot filter on all fields, in all views - in the application.

    For example: We have a Project custom field which is "Project Manager" - with values of our PMs on our projects. We want this to easily filter on projects and bookings everywhere.

    It works fine for us to use the filter in the Project view. But when we are using the Resource view and specifically View modes "Single rows (resource)" and "Single rows (project & resource)" the filter doesn't work. Nothing happens in the grid, but we are expecting to only see bookings…

  8. Add project phase to time reporting

    I build reports that need to sort the time entered by project, project phase, booking category and person. All are simple to do except project phase. There is a place to enter the phase but it does not appear as something I can select in the report builder.

  9. Expand the condtional formatting functionalities in reports

    Currently, the condtional formatting is quite limited. It will never be Excel but atleast can you please include comparison between columns (e.g. if column B is greater than column A highlight column/row green etc.)

  10. To be able to save the grouping in the 3rd level of a report

    Currently, the 3rd level of a report is default grouped by Day. If you change the grouping and save the report the previous 2 levels will be lost.
    It would be really useful if we can change the grouping in the 3rd level (to whatever we want) and able to save the report. Example navigation: Group by Project manager (1st level) --> Group by project (2nd level) --> Group by Budget category (3rd level)

  11. Floating date range

    We request a possibility to set a floating date range in the Reports part of the tool.

    Right now you can set This/Last/Next ... Week/Month/Quarter/Year.

    Would be good with the possibility to set for example "Rolling 12 months". Maybe a floating period with input of the unit based on Week/Month/Quarter/Year.

  14. Updates with Notes

    When updating the calendar and adding notes or any other details, the resource scheduled receives a message that something has been updated, without any details or explanation.

    It would be helpful to have an update that shows what has been changed.

  16. The ability to link existing data sets (i.e. resource list) to a custom field

    When setting up a project custom field, the field type options are limited to set entries. It would be useful to be able to link a project custom field to an existing data set. Example we want to create a custom field "Project Lead" and we want the dropdown for this to be a selection from the existing resource data set.

  18. Add a static 'budget hours' column in the report function when grouped by booking category

    With the new update, the column 'budget hours' only reflects the hours per category when grouped by category. However, it would be very useful to add another 'budget hours' column showing the total project budget when grouped by category.
    This is due to 'legacy data', lots of projects (>100) are not setup with the new budget category, thus we will lose the budget info when creating the reports.

  19. ability to import time on a regular basis

    HP has the ability to bulk import timesheets while onboarding but there is no feature to import time each week for individual users.

    Ideally, there's a template that the user populates during the week and then imports at the end of the work week, using excel to quickly capture time rather than clicking the individual box to input time.

    This would be very helpful for users (like myself) that have 49 projects and 3-5 categories for each project. The UI is in efficient for timekeeping with this volume of projects and categories. Additionally, competitor software allows for weekly individual import/upload.

  20. Forecasting time using timesheets

    We don't use the scheduler view due to the way it appears on timesheets without the option to hide it so all of our forecasting is done through timesheets.

    Currently, you are able to use the 'past weeks' feature to set up a new timesheet for the current week. If I am due to work on one project for the next month, it would be good if you could include an option under 'past weeks' to select how many weeks you would like to set up.
