Undo function
Several times now I've been a bit trigger-happy and clicked the wrong item, seen something disappear, but not been able to work out what it was.
And Undo function or list of activities would solve this 'problem'.

Possibility to divide project into areas/streams and to book resources within those
For big projects, that contains few modules/areas/streams it would be great to have an option to somehow divide it into groups. Then it should be possible to create bookings within this project within particular group. E.g. I have a project, where I need 5 people for module no 1, 7 people for module no 2 and 3 people for module no 3. This is one project, with one timeline and one PM. Currently all those 15 people are mixed - I would like to see them grouped per module.
55 voteswe have something like this already in the backlog and will start to finalize the UX and implementation so it is inline with other features. Happy to say it is on the way and moving.

JIRA API integration
Pre-defined interface (preferably API) between Hub Planner (resource planning) and JIRA Tempo (time recording) to allow planned projects, resources and bookings to be imported/exported to enable comparison/reconciliation with actual time logged.
Plus detailed reports to support deeper analysis.

Tasks as Project children
Currently, Tasks are entered as Checklist and specific tasks cannot easily be (re)assigned to a resource.
By having Tasks as Project children which are visible in scheduler view then easily assign specific tasks to individual resources51 votes -
Add a timer
Hi, After some testing within our company, we currently running a number of trials, we would like to know if there are plans to add a timer to the time recording section of the system?
This would enable team members to start a timer on a particular project and category, and have this reflected in the timesheet. This is a truer reflection of time spent than the suggested time taken directly from the scheduled tasks.
38 votesHi just to let you know, the development of a clock timer in Hub Planner (you requested and voted on) has now begun. Any particular requests you have in addition to those you mentioned, please do let us know. Happy to take them on board when developing.
Thanks,
Helen

Budget in days, not hours
We budget our time in days and it would be useful to have this ability in Hub Planner. Much easier to see how many days we have left for a project than having to divide total hours left by 7.5 (average day).
36 votesWe have added the days option to reports. Does that help?

Hub Planner as an app - in order to plan on the go!
It would be great to have Hub Planner as an app, so it's possible to update and set up on the go.

Hours budget for phases
I would like to be able to add an hours budget per phase, in addition to for the entire project. This way, I can book resources to phases and see which phases are over or under budget. Currently it is only possible to see overall project budgets, but projects with many phases, some of which are very far apart (in time) are not easy to look in to.

Export data to Microsoft Power BI or Tableau for reporting
It would be good if HubPlanner could automatically feed standard reporting tools like Tableau or Power BI

Monthly view - timesheets
We have had several requests to have the ability to view timesheets per month rather than or in addition to per week. We do our time recording monthly, so it would be much easier if our resources could record, see, and export their hours for an entire month at once rather than having to do weekly exports and then have to merge those individual exports together.

Ability to hide weekends on the timesheet page
When you rarely work on the weekend, it's nice to have the option to show or hide the Saturday/Sunday columns on the timesheet page of Hubplanner.

Schedule automatic creation of reports
In the previous CRM we used we could "schedule" the automatic creation of reports. For example, on the 1st of the month run a specific report and email the results to desired people. It would be nice to have that.

Automatic override of booking if Vacation is entered
Sometimes our employees take one day off in the middle of a project. If we've booked them for three months, we need to break the booking to go around the project.
It's a little thing but it would be great that if a booking is on the same day as a vacation, the vacation overrides the booking and that day is not counted.

Custom fields in scheduler context drop-down menu
Option to have custom fields show up on the scheduler selection context menu so one could easily choose custom field options to apply to the booking selection. Similar to the Booking Category selection option that already exists. This would allow us to customize the booking selection based on our custom fields.

Show remaining project hours when booking resources to projects
When I'm booking resources to a project in the Group Schedule, I'd like to see how much time is remaining on the project as I'm dragging the project/resource across the date schedule.

Toggl
It would be very handy if there was a way for my team members to track the time they spend on each project automatically with toggl. That way the resource wouldn't have to manually update the time-sheet and the time tracked would be more accurate.

Include notes in the description of the iCalendar item
It would be very useful to include any note (if present) in the description of the iCalendar booking, so the resources can see any additional information about the booking without the need to ask for further clarifications.

Reorder resources
I'd like to view the resources in a custom order (drag n drop would be nice) as Alphabetical is not ideal.
Displaying by group would be best16 votes -
If user is assigned to work on more than one project, the width of the row should depend on the hours scheduled for the project.
If user is assigned to work on more than one project, it would be very useful to have it visible the percentage of the time spent on each project: 4h on Project1, 2h on Project2, 1h on Project3, 1h on Project4. The width of the row should depend on the hours scheduled for the project.
