As a producer I want to know how much time my resource actually spent on every booking. F.e I book 16 hours for a task but my resource only spent 12 hours, he should then report through Hubplanner how many hours he actually spent.
Released Today – Check it out here http://hubplanner.com/time_tracking_timesheet_software

Hi There,
Hope you had a nice start to the New Year. Sorry for the delayed input we have been focused on so many new features for Hub Planner (This being one of them) we have not had a chance to update here.
The implementation of this feature is something we have discussed at length and are in the process of determining what direction makes most sense to go with. The feature itself is quite involved when it comes to implementation and introduces new elements and technical challenges that we need to get right first before coding.
We are first going to be rolling out some other new sponsored updates this month (Which you will like) and then we will be planning on giving this the green light if not sooner. The usability, concept and wireframes are already in the works..
Sorry for the delay but as this is a big update in how "actual" time is handled through out the system (grid, reports, progress etc) and the possible use of other API's it's taking a bit longer to flush out the best scenario for the product.
Thanks as always for your patience //Stephen

Any new input on this feature?

Hi Sym and thanks for your input. We are currently discussing what is the best way to implement such a feature and decide where it sits on the priority map. You can be assured we will be implementing something to cater for the functionality you are seeking.
As far as the PR text on our site, sorry for any confusion. We are actually referring to the tracking of time visually from the bookings. If you are booking a resource for a week on a project then you can visually see what you have booked. we aplogise if this was misleading and will review that text..
thanks

I'd like to see this functionality too, in fact its what would set HubPlanner apart from other tools and save me using a separate time management tool. I actually expected this functionality to be included because on your website lists 'Track Progress' as a feature that lets you 'Visually see how much time is being tracked by your resources.' Is this a different function that I've missed?

Hi Jorgen,
I like what you are saying here and it is something I will bring to the team to discuss. The "team user" view is currently intended to give your team members their schedule, so they know what they are doing when they get in, rather than let them input data. We will try and brainstorm how a phase 1 of this functionality could potentially work in the structure.
Thanks for the feedback and suggestion..
