Ability to Schedule Half Days
Half day steps would double the accuracy of the week without destroying the clarity of the time-data visualization. Time is, naturally, serial and continuous, so in reality tasks can only be completed one after another, not in parallel. Overlapping tasks and using % is not only a less meaningful model but dramatically reduces the at-a-glance clarity of the stacked resources view.

If I could book 4.5 days without having to add it as two bookings it would really help for rescheduling.

Thanks for your comment. At the moment we support 2 types of views.
Macro - 1, 2, 4 week views
Micro - Day view which gives hourly segmentsIn the Micro view you should be able to archive what you are looking for without seeing an overlap. As this view is so zoomed in to 1 day it is probably now what you are ideally looking for.
We will discuss with the UI team if there is any way of reducing the steps to 1/2 days in the Macro view without causing structural changes.
