Funny, it seems that this is a very important feature but it seems that it is 'planned' since 2013. Any news on this?

I'd like to se the same view as Resources but instead of the team members below each other I want to see the projects in this column. I can then see when and who is allocated in the project.

Has there been any progress with this suggestion? As far as I can tell it's still the same.

To go with HubPlanner suggestion (below), how would this affect project reporting if each discipline is made into a project --- rather than tasks within one project?
* Create a group (Maybe with client name or project name)
** With that group create a project for each of the disciplines (Design, Dev etc)
** Set the budget on each of the projects within that group..

Regarding the breakdown you supply you can try and achiev this by using groups.

So for example.

* Create a group (Maybe with client name or project name)
** With that group create a project for each of the disciplines (Design, Dev etc)
** Set the budget on each of the projects within that group..

This way you can set budgets for each area and also see the project as a whole within the group by clicking all group bookings which will show you design, dev etc..

This would be great guys! a small addition to this that would really help me would be to set the estimated hours per milestone within a project.

So for example, if a project is 100hrs, I can break the project up in milestones and set the amount of hours per milestone. So, 30hrs for the designs, 50hrs for dev and 20hrs testing. This way I can have visibility on which group is assigned and using X amount of hours within the project milestones.

that would definitively be helpful. To clarify I would like to see the same view as in View Rresources but with the projects instead. Just to get an visual overview when the projects starts, ends and milestones.

We have something similar planned and I can post up here what exactly, but it should do what you are looking for. In Each Individual Project, (for projects which have a start and end date) we plan on showing a Progress bar showing project % complete. This will give you a bigger picture of where you are at.

The Milestones should already be appearing for the project you are in?

Does that make sense or are you looking for something else?
