Audit log to identify who made a scheduling change
The ability to be able to identify who made a booking change and when. This could act as a history of who scheduled, edited, or deleted a booking. Ideally this could be filtered/searched based on a project or resource.
Hi there,
As promised!
Introducing the Hub Planner Audit Log. Now users can access an Audit Log of Hub Planner changes in the Resource Management system.
The Hub Planner Audit log will provide the complete history log of any activity being performed in Hub Planner, by all users. Activities such as changes to a project booking, creating new resources or deleting a project when resource scheduling and project planning.
This is the first stage in the Audit Log, we hope to include more features and functions in future releases. Take a look here: https://hubplanner.com/hub-planner-audit-log/
Happy to hear any feedback you have too.
Best regards,
Helen

This would be fantastic to have under project details and resource details a change log. I would think that there would need to be some design thought so it was not just a server log (with 1000's of rows), but tracing which user was last to update with, even if high-level on first pass of this functionality would be a good start:
Project settings changed
Booking changed
Resource details updated
Resource removed/added from project -

I agree this would be a very useful feature to have.

Agree - I suspect the necessary data exists and can be captured in the webserver calls (username, timestamp) all that's left are whatever the UI updates would be. No comment on complexity, just that this would appear to be achievable.
It would definitely help self-organising teams debug conflicts and errors arising from a "multiple-cooks" scenario.

I would really love to see this feature being implemented. In organizations with lots of projects and resources it would help a lot to see when/who bookings were made to help sort out double bookings etc.
