Below you can help shape the functionality of Hub Planner by suggesting your idea. We want to make sure we are listening to the users of Hub Planner and incorporating your Feedback within our Project Roadmap.

  1. Add "Update all from this point forward" for allocation changes.

    In addition to "Update this" and "Update all" add an option for "Update all from this point forward" when changing allocation for a repeating booking. This will only change the allocation from the selected position and future bookings and not bookings previous to that as "Update all" would do for a repeating booking.

  2. Request delete bookings

    My project managers can create requests to add a booking for a resource. Should also be possible to have a request to cancel (delete) a booking on the resource.

  3. Schedule edit permission only for team

    Permission to edit bookings just for team members. Like in approver we can define a team, create a permission also to add or edit bookings for that team.

  4. Multi-factor authentication

    One of the things that is stopping me from using hub planner is not having the ability to enable/enforce multi-factor authentication for my users. This is critical to properly secure access to our accounts.

    Some common and easy to use configurations would be like Duo Security, Google Auth, etc.

    Please add this capability!

  5. Improve the user interface

    clean up the User Interface. Remove redundant buttons and bars that clutter the screen, obscuring the scheduler and streamline the border widths and heights.

    The bars and functions take up to much space, so that on a 1366 x 768 screen the actual scheduler data is less than 40% of the screen contents.

    There is really no need for the month, weeknumber and day number to be 30px high if my projects are only 17px

  6. Make "Vacation Days per Year" allowance to be specified per year

    When setting up the vacation days for 2019 I've noticed that historical reports for 2018 have changed too in terms of "Vacation Days per Year" allowance thus showing incorrect data.

    Please add a possibility to set the vacation days allowance for each year separately to not break the historical data of previous years.

  7. Explain why you can't edit or change something

    When using the scheduler, it doesn't show when I can't edit something. When I try and move it, it doesn't work. This is because of the level of access I have, but that's not made clear.

  8. Rate card per client

    I would like to see rate cards based on client. Each client would have resources assigned to it. We could then set individual rate cards based on the client rate card. Then, all projects that are assigned that client would be already setup with the correct rate card. At the moment we have to setup each project individually which isn't workable for us as we have hundreds of projects.

  9. Duplicate Project and Bookings within

    When clicking 'Duplicate Project' it would be good to also copy across all the bookings within so it's a true duplicate to work on

    More booking repeat interval options such as 2nd Monday of each month, quarterly etc.

  12. Schedule Specific Notifications

    It would be useful to have email and/or desktop notifications for when the schedule is changed; i.e. when a new project has been added, hours have been changed, dates have been shifted, et cetera.

  13. Moving multiple bookings

    An issue which is frequently being raised by system users is that they are unable to move multiple bookings at one time. Projects are quite often pushed back which means that all of the bookings which have been created for that booking may need to be moved forward several weeks/months. The only way I am aware of is doing this currently is by holding ctrl and selecting the multiple bookings you wish to move – but with this it is difficult to see which bookings you have selected and can be quite fiddly - causing problems with the existing bookings. …

  14. Monthly view - timesheets

    We have had several requests to have the ability to view timesheets per month rather than or in addition to per week. We do our time recording monthly, so it would be much easier if our resources could record, see, and export their hours for an entire month at once rather than having to do weekly exports and then have to merge those individual exports together.

  15. Mark time entries (and bookings) as billable or non-billable

    A check box in both a booking and time entries to mark them as billable or non-billable. In the case of the booking, the resoure will know if it is billable or not. In the case of time entries, one can run a report (say weekly) to find all billable time and accounts can issue invoices accordingly.

  16. Tasks as Project children

    Currently, Tasks are entered as Checklist and specific tasks cannot easily be (re)assigned to a resource.
    By having Tasks as Project children which are visible in scheduler view then easily assign specific tasks to individual resources

  18. Add a timer

    Hi, After some testing within our company, we currently running a number of trials, we would like to know if there are plans to add a timer to the time recording section of the system?

    This would enable team members to start a timer on a particular project and category, and have this reflected in the timesheet. This is a truer reflection of time spent than the suggested time taken directly from the scheduled tasks.

  19. Hide iOS Safari browser UI/Chrome

    I like to open the site on my iPad, but the browser UI/chrome takes up too much real estate. Including the following tag would solve this problem :)

  20. Missing Report Label

    After selecting your report from the menu on the left and selecting the date range to view, the Report Title should be displayed at the top of the page, but it just says "Report".
