    I agree, it defeats the purpose of the vacation approval workflow if team members are able to add/modify vacation in the scheduler.

    One addition: this feature can be turned off with the 'Schedule Myself on Projects I am part of' option, however, that also makes it impossible to add/change any booking people are part of. You would want team members to be able to add/change work bookings, but not vacation.
