Hourly resources
Hi there, at our organization we have people doing different project trough out a day. Is it possible to plan resources on an hourly, per day basis? Eg: One project takes a week, but person x should spend 4 ours on it on monday, and six on thursday.. etc.
Can Hub Planner do that?

Project Group View
Clicking on a Project Group in the left-hand pane filters the bookings in the right for the projects within that group.
Alternatively, an "All Bookings" option is generated for within each group, just as there is an "All Bookings" option within Active Projects.
[Context]
Using Project Groups to separate teams or divisions within the same organization, whose projects and resources do not often overlap.

Vacancies
Being able to plan future projects with vacant resources. Using fake employee accounts does not make sense as I am not able to switch them later on.
2 votesWe have now added new statuses where you can achieve what you are looking for. Please check out the details here http://hubplanner.com/dynamic-project-statuses

Sort Resource View
I would like to be able to select which resources I can see in the resource tree. For example be able just to view a group in the grid and not just "all resources" or f.e remove "Contractors" and just see Team members.

Static timeline
If you scroll down in Resource or Project view you lose the dates in the timeline. Would be great to make sure they show on top all the time.
2 votesHej, we just completed and pushed this feature live. As mentioned above it actually was quite involved to get it working as desired but well worth it. I feel the result is solid and should do exactly what you are looking for when scrolling long lists. i.e. keep the dates always in view.
Let us know how it works for you when you get a chance or if you run into any issues…
Thanks //Stephen

Add Labels and Groups inline from the Modal Pop-up
When adding a new resource or project there currently is not a way to inline add new locations, types, tags, clients, groups etc.
Adding an inline option to "add new" from the modal would quickly allow users to do everything from the one spot.

Smart Grouping
Smart Grouping allows you to dynamically create different groups by creating smart logic rules for any group.
Let's say you have a whole bunch of projects. You have everything from Design to Development and from New York to Stockholm Locations. Well Smart Groups makes finding all those projects much easier.
Once you correctly label each project, you can filter all projects with that label into 1 group automatically.
So in our example above you could have a smart group for
- New York Office Projects
- Stockholm Projects
- Design Projects
etc etc. There is no limit on how you create smart groups…
