  1. Dashboard: accumulated "Project Timeline" for all active projects

    A "Project Timeline" can be found under "Dashboard" on project level. What I am currently missing is an opportunity to see all active projects in one overview with their respective time lines specified. I could imagine this functionality would look very similar to a gantt chart. The goal of this functionality is to be able to define the status (phase or milestone) of various projects at a quick glance.

    If you go to

    1. The scheduler
    2. Click Projects top left
    3. Click Active Projects → Group Schedule
    4. Click the small tv icon in the scheduler
    5. Now you will see all milestones dates etc for all projects

  2. Multi-factor authentication

    One of the things that is stopping me from using hub planner is not having the ability to enable/enforce multi-factor authentication for my users. This is critical to properly secure access to our accounts.

    Some common and easy to use configurations would be like Duo Security, Google Auth, etc.

    Please add this capability!

  4. Add a warning message before deleting projects or resources

    It would be great to add a warning message before a project or resource is deleted. Such as "are you sure you want to delete this project? All project data will be lost". I intended to delete the project and that was fine - but there was a resource I didn't intend to delete that got deleted and all her data was lost. If I had had a warning, I would have realized I was selecting the wrong option.

  5. Improving export options

    The export options from scheduler feel under-played. The jpg/png would benefit from a date range on it, and the csv/excel output has almost no information, not even the project names. Appreciate we can do all our work from within the tool, but there are those who like their PPT/PDF reports via email still, and right now this misses the mark for export. Any plans to improve?

  6. Compact/landscape oriented layout

    The new look seems to have been designed for a portrait style screen. It would be nice if you could toggle a more compact or landscape oriented view.

  7. Timesheet - Enter Note on Selected Day By Default

    It would make timesheeting faster if when I entered time on a day and tried to add a note: the note opened for the day selected, not the first day in the week.

  8. Bulk timesheet management options.

    Organisations with large teams who wish to onboard to HubPlanner are going to have a horrible, horrible time with the current set of timesheet features.

    • Time management is done on a week by week basis
    • The interface is collapsed by default and it takes several clicks to even view the editable time fields per project
    • Entering time takes several clicks / doesn't work with the tab button

    Proposal:
    - Manager functionality to enable monthly view of timesheets
    - Bulk "approve all" button
    - Bulk import facility for retrospective time import from other systems (critical for reporting!!)

  9. Need cusytomization option to add new fields to Employee & Project

    I want to add new fields like employee joining date, employee code, designation, years of experience, visa status, department, manager, location, gender etc & for all this I want to create my own dropdown list. In the same way, i want to capture more information on Projects & have customized dropdown list for each new field.
    Please let me know if this is possible.

    The current planner gives me very limited picture & I am not able to use it for effective resource planning.

  10. Workflow in Timesheet

    You need the ability to lock down a timesheet so that it cannot be changed once it has been locked. This is different to saving the timesheet, the locking provides a level of control and communication, if for example your invoicing process depends on everyone confirming their timesheets are complete and accurate.

  11. Status - and colours - for bookings (not projects)

    On multi-stage projects (most of our work) we need to be able to drill down and make status changes to bookings, not just top-level projects.

    Would also be good if you could give project groups colourings (we us project groups as clients).

  12. Make the 4, 6 and 12 Weeks Grid, step only 1 Week on klicking forward or backward.

    The 4 Weeks View is great, when you want to see 4 Weeks from a different startdate, but when i click on next, it steps 4 weeks forward. It would be better, if you can step only 1 week forward or bakcward.

  13. Viewing planner in weeks

    Hi,

    Some people have hinted to this feature in different post about visibility for longer period of time.
    Would it be possible to have an option to view the planner in weeks and not only in days?
    Currently if you look at a 12 weeks period you can see every day.
    It would be great that for anything longer than 12 weeks you would then see your bookings in weeks rather than days.
    Can you let me know if it is something you are planning on adding?

  14. Option for an xml or ical file to be integrated into a Google Calendar or some other Calendar program.

    I would love to have the option for an acesable xml or ical file to be integrated into Google Calendar or some other Calendar program. I know you guys are busy on working with different API's and might already have something in the works with getting data out from HubPlanner into other apps like Harvest and Basecamp. Would love to see this feature added as well, even if its an RSS feed perhaps that we could go and use, although an .ical or something along those lines for use in a calendar would be even better!

  18. future work

    Hi guys,

    have you been thinking how could I track future work that has to be done. I usually have incoming projects and number of hours that I need for them. I'd really like to write that somewhere but I'm now sure where :)

  19. Ability to set specific bookings for weekend/off days work

    Sometimes bookings require work on normal non-working days. I would like to be able to set that for the booking so that work duration is accurately reported on the scheduler and in reports.

  20. Collapse All Option for TimeSheets

    It would be great if the timesheets had an option to "collapse all" or "un-collapse" all like you can in MS word navigation.

    The new interface is great if you only have a few lines but it's taken the old interface in the extreme opposite direction. Now instead of clicking lots I have to scroll lots and its not very easy to do that because in the new flat UI everything looks the same.
