Auto filling in sequential order of Unique Project Code/ID Field
It would be good for the unique number in the project options menu to be auto populated, therefore anytime a new project was entered, the unique number would be auto-created. If the user could have some flexibility in defining the sequential numbering system, would be a plus.

improved timeline export
Would like to export the timeline for a whole project, not just what's visible on the screen - and also in an editable format, such as AI or PDF. This way we wouldn't have to duplicate in another program to be able to send a basic version to a client for agreement.

Customizable Project Dashboard
I would like to create a custom project dashboard which shows me the specific data points I need. Much of the info in the current layout is not useful to us. It would be much better if I could choose which dashboard widgets to include, and to potentially create my own, maybe a custom widget builder similar to the custom report builder.
To check on project health right now, I have to look at the single project scheduler page, and also run a custom report of budgeted hours, budgeted spend, actual hours, and actual spend. This going back and forth…7 votes -
Custom fields in scheduler context drop-down menu
Option to have custom fields show up on the scheduler selection context menu so one could easily choose custom field options to apply to the booking selection. Similar to the Booking Category selection option that already exists. This would allow us to customize the booking selection based on our custom fields.

Ability to attach a file (PDF) to a timesheet for approval.
In order for us to expand the use of hubplanner, we need the ability to attache a file to a time sheet. For example we use door times which can be included with hours worked

Make "Vacation Days per Year" allowance to be specified per year
When setting up the vacation days for 2019 I've noticed that historical reports for 2018 have changed too in terms of "Vacation Days per Year" allowance thus showing incorrect data.
Please add a possibility to set the vacation days allowance for each year separately to not break the historical data of previous years.

When using Vacations extension, to block a resource from changing his already approved vacations, if that resource has allocation permission
We are currently implementing the Vacation Extensions and we checked that the Team that have self allocation permissions can also edit own Approved Vacation days. In order to assure that the planned and approved vacation days are maintained we need to have those days 'locked' and allow changes via the established approval workflow, thus keeping the Team members self allocation for projects

Convert overhours to time-off
In our team, over-hours are not paid out but are converted into time-off. I would really like to see the possibility to convert over-hours into hours that a team member can request as time-off. This time-off should appear together with submitting a vacation request.

I would like to see a resource contention resolver algorithm
I would like to see a resource contention resolver algorithm that allows for resource capabilities to be defined and assigned to each resource and then have hub that lets me see not only what my contentions are but recommendations for would is same skill and who's capacity would allow them to be used instead of the person that is over allocated.
We have many skillsets and lots of projects. It is very hard to review the totality of the projects with the available resources.

Schedule automatic creation of reports
In the previous CRM we used we could "schedule" the automatic creation of reports. For example, on the 1st of the month run a specific report and email the results to desired people. It would be nice to have that.

Intelligent bookings.
Intelligent booking. When booking for instance 200h:s between two dates, the booking should behave intelligently and spread out the 200h:s, but not overbook the resource if he/she is already booked on other work. So the behaviour should be "even out the load, but take current bookings in account and adjust so the resource is not overbooked".
An alternative way of implementing this is to have an option "don't allow overbooking" or "Use intelligent booking" that would make all scheduling of bookings take in account what's already planned on resources and adjust so the resource isn't allowed to be overbooked.

Do not show actions/features in menu's that a user has no permission for.
For instance: a team member is not allowed to request a resource. He is, however, able to click this action and will be confronted with a page that he has no access permissions.

Sorting capability for Account Setup
It would be nice if under the Account Setup you could sort by the different category headers. ie organise milestones by date or project etc.

Option for "color blind" booking colors
Ability to include shapes or patterns on bookings in addition to colors to assist color blind users in distinguishing between booking types.

Visibility to when/who has created/updated a new project, event and resource
Currently it is possible to view who has created/updated a booking and when. I would like to see similar functionality for a project, event and resource.

Saved view of timesheets - booking category
Hi- Our team would LOVE to see a way to save timesheet views week over week including typical projects AND booking categories. Right now we can do a work around to save a project view, however booking categories default. This used to be available in our previous time tracking system and saved a lot of time.
