Bulk delete schedulling
Bulk delete the scheduled out time on a resources timeline, with a warning/alert asking, "Are you sure you want to do this."

Milestones - option to generate an email to the user to prompt them
We use milestones to show when various reports are required during a large construction project. If we had the option for the user to receive an email to prompt them that this is now due on the milestone date.

Custom fields - bulk update and/or import data
To update custom fields of all resources, you need to go to edit the resource, go to custom fields, update it and save. Then do this one by one for all resources.
Suggesting a faster bulk update for custom fields, such as having the possibility to add custom field columns within the list view of "Manage Resources" or exporting all resources with custom fields, updating the custom fields manually in i.e. Excel, then importing it again.
We're using the custom fields to keep track of the overtime and travel days which is updated each month, so it's a tedious process.

ability to import time on a regular basis
HP has the ability to bulk import timesheets while onboarding but there is no feature to import time each week for individual users.
Ideally, there's a template that the user populates during the week and then imports at the end of the work week, using excel to quickly capture time rather than clicking the individual box to input time.
This would be very helpful for users (like myself) that have 49 projects and 3-5 categories for each project. The UI is in efficient for timekeeping with this volume of projects and categories. Additionally, competitor software allows for weekly individual import/upload.

Bulk delete
Like there is the bulk move function it would be useful to have the option to bulk delete all bookings of a certain resource.

The ability to run a report Milestones and if they were achieved.
We set millstones for staff and need to know if they were achieved, We would like to run a report featuring the milestone and date due.

Assigning Tasks to Projects instead of the Resource so the whole team can se and tick off as completed.

Possibility to turn on warning message when using drag & drop
It would be good to have a settings option where you could activate a warning message to be displayed when you use drag & drop to move scheduled time. Especially when you’re new to Hub Planner, it is quite easy to drag & drop by mistake and move a booking to the wrong resource.
An alternative would be a “regret” function for the latest activity (which I don’t think exist).4 votes -
Automatic logging of when a resource is placed active and unactive
This would be especially helpful for reports and API usage. For instance, if a previously active recourse becomes unactive (if they left the company) the reports should count this resource for previously active days, but not for days after this resource was inactivated. This date change should be included in the API as well.

date format
Data exports date formats need to be configurable.
Currently data exports have dates in the format mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm. This is no good for users that use the format dd/mm. Opening the current exports in excel results in some dates being misinterpreted and others as being seen as non-date entries.
2 options: either make date formats configurable, or set a non-ambiguous date format in the export (international guidelines exist for this).3 votes -
"Time Sheet Reminder" mails should be customizable (wrt mail adress and links)
The system generated reminder mails should be able to customize to a certain extent. The existing content encourages user to send mails to "support@hubplanner.com" and provide link to the users notification settings. Also the link back to Hub planner is not that obvious (part of the header icon)
It should provide a clear link to the users own time reporting sheet, and we should be able to add custom mails/links that are of use to the receiver of the reminder mail e,g, mail to our internal support mail box or our link to our internal page for support.

Make tab background color same as content color
On the Timesheets and Approval tabs on the left side, I suggest keeping the background of the active tab consistent with the active content background for a more seamless visual.

Ability to use forward delete when entering time
When entering time, if you try to use the forward delete key, it doesn't work. Let's enable it.

It would be helpful to have the possibility to schedule subprojects with different subproject code belonging to a project with a unique project code .

Unassigned work is counting as having capacity
The unassigned work feature enables buckets that you can place hours into for work that is unassigned. This is a very useful feature for forecasting work. However, when we include the forecasted, unassigned work in utilization reports, the UW bucket has capacity and skews the utilization for the resource group, giving us lower than actual utilization numbers. The UW buckets should have 0 utilization across the board since they are not an actual resource.

Add fields to resource notifications
Similar to how the Customisation > "Display Custom Field Value under Project" currently functions, it would be useful to be able to add a Project custom field to the notifications which goto resources when they are scheduled upon a project.
At the moment these notifications are limited to Name & Booking Category. Permitting the addition of a custom field would fulfil multiple use cases. In my current use case it would permit me to publish the Project Code / ID of a system I am integrating with HubPlanner.1 vote -
Have the option to substract planned vacation from scheduled days
It would be nice if you could get the column "scheduled project days minus scheduled event days" in the report builder. So Vacation days get substracted from the project scheduled days. This way you get a realistic schedule for the project, as ressources don't work during holidays.
