More information in the "approval request mail"
When I get the mail of approval for a resource request I would like to have more all the information provided in the resource request, such as the amount of time requested (hrs per day/ percentage / total hrs) and request notes. This will make it easier/faster for the approving manager to approve/reject the request.

Stacked Charts (column or bars)
Stacked Charts (column or bars)
The chart functionality of Hubplanner mentions the possibility to have stacked bar/columns, but it doesn't work.
I had a zoom session with Hubplanner support and their suggested I log a request for improvement.1 vote -

Weekly Booking Summaries - add option to send out "next 4 weeks".
Currently you can only send out the current week or the next week.
We think it would be helpful to see the next 4 weeks. This would give us more lead time to catch mistakes and not have to adjust so urgently.

Ability to add a utilization target to a resource and report on it
The ability to be able to add a utilization target to individual resources currently different team members have different targets. As a team manger I have an overall target for my team and it is difficult to report on that with out lots of excel which rather defeats the point of buying software for this.

Scheduler view link to timesheet improvements
There are a few issues stopping us from using the scheduler currently. These are as follows:-
- When you add time onto the scheduler, it cannot be removed from the timesheet view. Whilst it is good to see planned time vs actual time, there is no option of hiding or removing the planned time.
- Tasks on scheduler view do not tie in with tasks on the timesheet view. If you put in a freeform box of what work you will be doing on the scheduler view, it should match what you want to put on your timesheet.

Recurring timesheet tasks
If I work on a particular project one day a month, the scheduler view has the option to set up a recurring task. This view is not available on timesheets and would be beneficial to us as we do not use the scheduler view currently.

Improvements to entering tasks
We require all time to have task names so we can support our invoices with a description. At the moment adding tasks is quite time consuming and not the most intuitive. It would be good if you could do the following:-
- Choose how many days that task description could cover (i.e. you were working on a task from Mon - Wed and would only need to insert the description once).
Use historic tasks or pull through information from previous weeks/months (i.e. you work on a task one day a week but have to manually type it in every week currently).

approve timesheets via mobile device
It would be great if the Timesheet Approvers could approve via the mobile view and not just the computer view if possible. It seems you can only add but not approve there currently.

Reports: Possibility to add a legend to the report I'm viewing
Currently you're only able to see what the different data in the graphs is by hovering with your cursor over it. It would be most excellent if we could have an option to include a legend into the report view. This way it would be easier for the viewer of the report to understand what the different bars/graphs contains.

Daily Rates rather than just hourly
A daily rate option rather than just hourly would make a huge difference to day rated projects, as you have to define the hourly rate (day rate/7.5) which means that you can end up with many decimal place day rates showing on reports, which can skew the actual and budget numbers.

Search Settings function
To have the ability to search through the settings. As owner, there are a lot of settings to trawl through and have a search function would make this easier to navigate through

Internal and External Rates separate
Ability to have Internal and External rates separate. Our business has internal costed rates and external recharge rates, however the list is one and the same within HubPlanner, so you end up with large lists of rates or rather not use at all as it would make it prone to errors

do not duplicate categories on a project when copying a past week
When you're scheduled for a project and copy the previous week's timesheet, your project for the current week will have duplicate categories for the current week's project and also for the previous week, resulting in 2 lines per project that you're scheduled for. I'd like to see the duplicated project excluded.
example: I'm scheduled to work 1 hour a day, every work day on project b, but also work on projects I'm not specifically scheduled for. When I copy my previous week's time sheet to save from having to replicate the additional projects, the project b for this week now…

Automatically populate public holidays in timesheets.
Where a user has been added to global public holiday, Hub Planner should automatically populate the timesheet but without scheduling the public holiday in the Scheduler.
