  1. Ability to track on-site and off-site work hours

    Our teams often work both on-site (at the client) and off-site (at our offices). So a team member may be allocated at 40h per week to a project, of which 24h are on-site and 16h are off-site.

    It's very important for us to track when a team member works on-site as we also have to take into account time for travel, etc.

    You can now do this via our Booking Categories and Brand new Timesheets just released today. You can create a booking category for Onsite and Offsite and then book time with that category, or have your team add the category when reporting time in timesheets. This can then be reported in reports.

  2. Milestones take on the color of the project they are associated with

    It would be great if the milestones took on the color of the project they are associated with, to provide at-a-glance distinction between different milestones that may have the same name in the general booking view (i.e. two projects have a milestone called "dev kickoff")

  4. Regional holidays that only apply to some resources

    Ability to create holidays that only apply to some regions/people - for example in Australia each state has it's own regional holidays. If we could set the working location for each resource, then create holidays that either apply to all or to a location/group - this would solve the problem.

    Currently we manually book a "Public Holiday" event on each persons schedule

Resources can be added to multiple calendars via the extension in Settings or via the Resource Modal. You can also auto-import public holidays per country at 4 different levels.   5. Display Display Milestones in Timeline

    Given that a milestone is just a date and a name, it would be really useful to see these clearly on a resource timeline. At present the milestone is just shown as a dot on the "Day" view, but if I move to "Week" that information is lost. What about adding a coloured line for each milestone on the associated resource? A bit like the "today" line.

  6. Allow for budgets to be broken down into booking categories

    The booking categories documentation (https://hubplanner.uservoice.com/forums/199077-what-s-next-for-hub-planner/suggestions/4292472-view-projects-in-timeline) seems to indicate that categories can be used to indicate different types of work (e.g. design, development, PM, QA, etc.).

    Would it be possible to expose these booking categories for each project's budget, and allow for hours/$ for each category?

    So my project wouldn't have just one 500 hour pool to book time against, but may instead have 100 hours for design, 300 hours for development, and 100 for QA.

    Please create a Mobile app. I was trying to view the grid on my iphone and I couldn't see the sidebar where the resources are. I also couldn't see past the 21st of March.

    The text in other areas also gets jumbled and out of format.

  8. Assign same booking to multiple resources

    I need to be able to assign one booking to multiple people (resources). I can assign a booking to a whole group, but not able to chose individual people. Please help.

  10. Skill sets

    Would be nice to have add skill sets to employees and add skill set requirements for projects, so the app can recommend most suitable employee (both time and skill based) for the project

  11. Ability to hide weekends

    For those of us who don't work weekends; It would be nice to hide the weekends in the grid so that dragging bookings always keep to the same amount of days.
    Right now an 8 day booking could change to a 6 day booking depending on where it lands.
    Or, alternatively, have the booking change size so that it keeps it's booking value.

  12. Resource groups availability report

    Resource groups availability report - it would be fantastic if the Availability report also had an option to view by Resource Group. It is tremendously helpful for organization resource allocation planning to see what percentage a resource group is allocated at any particular time. If Dev is 100% for the next 3 months and I want to take on more work, I would then know it's time to hire more developers.

  17. Allow me to request that a project is added to my timesheet

    When I start work on a new project, it's only later in the week when I log my time that I find I haven't had the appropriate project added to my timesheet so I can't log the time and need to email the administrator manually to request it (which also requires that I know who the administrator is).

    Instead, I'd (ideally) like to be able to pick the right project and request access to it without leaving the HubPlanner UI. Meanwhile the administrator receives an email about it which includes two action links/buttons - Approve/Reject - which do exactly as…

  18. Ability to define the working hours per user .

    Actually there is no way to define the working hours. It is 8h by default. It occurs that there half time resources or , for instance in our case, we work 7h/day.
