  1. Roll on/roll off date for resource

    My team has resources going in and out of the team. It would be great to be able to add an optional start date and end date for a resource.

  2. Mark time entries (and bookings) as billable or non-billable

    A check box in both a booking and time entries to mark them as billable or non-billable. In the case of the booking, the resoure will know if it is billable or not. In the case of time entries, one can run a report (say weekly) to find all billable time and accounts can issue invoices accordingly.

  3. Tasks as Project children

    Currently, Tasks are entered as Checklist and specific tasks cannot easily be (re)assigned to a resource.
    By having Tasks as Project children which are visible in scheduler view then easily assign specific tasks to individual resources

  5. Add a timer

    Hi, After some testing within our company, we currently running a number of trials, we would like to know if there are plans to add a timer to the time recording section of the system?

    This would enable team members to start a timer on a particular project and category, and have this reflected in the timesheet. This is a truer reflection of time spent than the suggested time taken directly from the scheduled tasks.

  6. Hide iOS Safari browser UI/Chrome

    I like to open the site on my iPad, but the browser UI/chrome takes up too much real estate. Including the following tag would solve this problem :)

    After selecting your report from the menu on the left and selecting the date range to view, the Report Title should be displayed at the top of the page, but it just says "Report".

  8. Total cost and effort per project phase

    We need to use Hub Planner for defining the estimated cost and effort per phase in our proposals. Currently it is only possible to see the total effort for the project or to manually add the total project budget. I'd like the ability to link each schedule booking to a defined project phase and then see the total effort and total estimated cost (based on the hourly resource rates) for each proposed phase. We would then use this in a proposal and once a customer has approved the project, we'll report against it. Currently a project phase cannot be reported…

  10. Quarterly Recurrence

    We have lots of projects that recur quarterly. Is it possible to add the option to either have quarterly or a custom period?

  12. Hours budget for phases

    I would like to be able to add an hours budget per phase, in addition to for the entire project. This way, I can book resources to phases and see which phases are over or under budget. Currently it is only possible to see overall project budgets, but projects with many phases, some of which are very far apart (in time) are not easy to look in to.

  13. Project Cost Forecast

    I'd like to be able to create a project forecast which is independent from the resource hourly rate. I want to be able to show how the costs will be applied over the duration of the project, monthly. There are other costs beyond resources that I want to be able to factor into the project total cost (i.e. vendor costs etc).

    Ultimately, I would like to be able to compare my monthly forecast vs the project budget vs the actual costs. Being able to add all of these individual financial attributes gives me a more complete picture of how my…

  14. Week numbers in addition to dates and months to the active experts view

    Currently it is not possible to display week numbers in the active experts view if the slot size is weeks. Instead it only shows days and month in the header. If I would be able to configure the week number visible, I would not have to use a separate calendar application aside the planner.

    Implement the risk management for projects including:


    • Risk name

    • Risk category

    • Risk likelihood and consequence

    • Risk level (auto calculate using risk matrix)

    • Log date and resolved date

    • Mitigation actions.

  17. Subscribe to external calendar & automatically book as event, e.g. "unavailable"

    In a matrix structure where a single team member might work on multiple projects, it becomes quite troublesome to keep track of resource availability. Subscribing to each resource's calendar e.g., Google, shared iCloud Exchange or basically a source where my Hubplanner project's bookings are NOT synced with (to avoid circular references) would provide me with an accurate, always up-to-date availability overview and greatly facilitate resource assignment for scheduled bookings.

  18. Default/custom availability is not sufficient

    The current default/custom availability integration is not sufficient.

    Example: I have a day off every 2 weeks. So in week 1 I work 5 days, in week 2 4 days, in week 3 again 5 days, etc.

    There are more employees in my company with that patern, but there is no possibility to enter it in Hub Planner.

  19. Include notes in the description of the iCalendar item

    It would be very useful to include any note (if present) in the description of the iCalendar booking, so the resources can see any additional information about the booking without the need to ask for further clarifications.

  20. Dashboard Resources Utilisation - Next Month

    Currently it is possible to define a time frame only on the Project dashboard but not on the Resources one.

    I believe that it's a key feature the ability to use the dashboard to see the predicted utilisation not only for the current month but for the next one as well.
