  2. the ability to default which group populates after initial log in instead of the "active employees" group

    To be able to set your profile settings to which group you want to display after initial log in instead of it auto populating to "active employees"

  3. Override custom resource availability

    Some resources typically work a 4 day week, but from time to time they work the full 5 days (based on project needs). We would like to be able to set their default resource availability at 4 days, but over ride this when required by manually allocating hours to a non working day.

  4. Identify leave on grouped rows view of schedule

    The new grid layout is awesome, at a glance you can see who's got the right utilisation. It would also be useful to be able to see at a glance who has leave booked in the "Grouped Rows" view (so you can scroll down the list of resources to spot leave events coming up).

    Currently leave shows as "at capacity" - so it looks the same as a project booking in the grouped rows view. This could be achieved by a setting that allows you to "show leave" on the grouped rows view with a custom colour or by creating…

  6. Autosync scheduler between different users

    The scheduler should always be up-to-date for all users. If two persons are viewing the scheduler at the same time and the first makes a change, then the change should immediately be visible for the second user as well without having to refresh.

  8. Toggle between favorite scheduler settings

    I use the scheduler in a couple of different modes. Most of the time, I want to see a graphical representation of the reservation situation, but sometimes, I want to hide all reservation bars and just have a heatmap of availability (grouped rows + availability display => numbers).

    It would be great, if we could have the possibility to save a few preferred settings for the scheduler and then be able to quickly toggle between those settings. In other words, being able to with one button click toggle between, e.g. a heatmap and a visual representation.

  9. Bulk timesheet management options.

    Organisations with large teams who wish to onboard to HubPlanner are going to have a horrible, horrible time with the current set of timesheet features.


    • Time management is done on a week by week basis

    • The interface is collapsed by default and it takes several clicks to even view the editable time fields per project

    • Entering time takes several clicks / doesn't work with the tab button

    Proposal:
    - Manager functionality to enable monthly view of timesheets
    - Bulk "approve all" button
    - Bulk import facility for retrospective time import from other systems (critical for reporting!!)

  10. Filter scheduler by both resources AND unassigned work

    As shown in the video below, when trying to manage a large pipeline of project estimates, when you need to drag planned work onto actual named resources, the current interface is too cluttered to make this easy.

    It'd be ideal to be able to filter unassigned work categories as well as resources to drill down to the exact view of "what needs to be done" vs "people able to do it".

  11. Dashboard Resources Utilisation - Next Month

    Currently it is possible to define a time frame only on the Project dashboard but not on the Resources one.

    I believe that it's a key feature the ability to use the dashboard to see the predicted utilisation not only for the current month but for the next one as well.

  12. Add Outlook style contact list as common reference tool for team communications.

    Almost every project we create involves outside vendors and consultants. Each project has a unique contact list that are an integral part of the team. A team member should be able to add Hub project contacts for team reference and contact. A user should be able to initiate emails from the project contact list and the email should be recorded and archived in the project available to all team members.

  13. Include notes in the description of the iCalendar item

    It would be very useful to include any note (if present) in the description of the iCalendar booking, so the resources can see any additional information about the booking without the need to ask for further clarifications.

  14. Feedback on the dashboard amendment

    New amendment at the dashboard shows the time allocation first in each row (e.g. 40 total hours in 11 days) before the project name - this actually hinders the overview of different project names across teammates. It might be better for users to choose to display the time allocation or the project name first in each project row

  15. Overtime Rate

    If a resource is ulitised at an obscure time i.e Migration from 7pm to 12am or required to work over the weekend, we charge them a penalty rate. HubPlanner doesn't have the capability to indicate the work as overtime and therefore apply the penalty rate (base rate x 1.5%), flowing into billing so the client can see they were charged 8 hours at normal rate and 3 overtime hours at the penalty rate.

  16. Ability to view heat maps as percentages and hours

    We would like have the heat maps view the booking status as a percentage. i.e. Booked for 4 hours, show as 50% availabilty

  18. calendar viewing options

    I understand most of the world starts working on Monday, but it would be great to have the option to start our week on Sundays as well, as all of the GCC countries start on Sunday. This should be a viewing preference that is individually changed. I mention this because in our case, we have offices in Dubai (start Sunday) and Singapore (start Monday), and we don't want to change this globally. We need each of our employees to be able to control how they view their weeks.

  20. Scheduler - Filter on Available or over allocated resources

    In the scheduler view it would be nice to have a filter (or toggle) allowing you to show only available or over booked resources for the time period displayed.

    This would be useful when trying to re-balance bookings across resources.
