Add a timer
Hi, After some testing within our company, we currently running a number of trials, we would like to know if there are plans to add a timer to the time recording section of the system?
This would enable team members to start a timer on a particular project and category, and have this reflected in the timesheet. This is a truer reflection of time spent than the suggested time taken directly from the scheduled tasks.

Timesheets: Total number of suggested entries
There's totals on the timesheet for planned, unsubmitted and sumitted entries but we have our week planned and the suggested entries do not have a total. Sometimes my team forget to acknowledge a suggested entry and it's then picked up by management as an incomplete week.

Adjust the PM indicator for a resource
The PM indicator is a great addition, but placing the circular indicator to the left of the resource really messes up reading down the name list of resources. There should at least be an option to put the badge to the right of the name.

Assign a colour to a project group
Can you please allow colours to be assigned to a project group so I can change the whole group in one go please instead of having to enter each individually.

Add category to create project contextual menu.
At present we can schedule a project and add dates, allocation colour etc, but it would really helpful to add a 'category' at this point too. Presently have to go back in and assign, unless I am missing something?

Scheduler - Project revenue summary for Time and Materials projects
It would be good to have a total schedule hours and total revenue summary at the top regardless whether the project has a budget or not.
Currently, in project scheduling view, the summary of scheduled hours, budget and remaining $ are only shown when a project budget is entered.
In some cases for our businesses, it's Time and Materials e.g. based on staff hour rate. The clients don't have a budget and we can keep providing services as requested. This is different to Fixed Price Contract with a budget.

Custom field - Bulk add and Auto order the Select (drop down list) option
When adding the custom field with Select field option, currently users need to add one by one.
Suggestions are:
Text area where users can copy and paste the existing list from elsewhere. Each option is on a separate line. This will be more efficient if the list is big.
Auto alphabetically order option in case . Currently if I add an item to the list, there's no way I can rearrange the order of the list unless I start from scratch.

Risk management function for projects
Implement the risk management for projects including:
- Risk name
- Risk category
- Risk likelihood and consequence
- Risk level (auto calculate using risk matrix)
- Log date and resolved date
- Mitigation actions.

Implement Project Report with Health indicators
At the moment, the Project Status can be used to indicate whether the project is active or not.
It would be good to have extra project health indicators by using simple traffic light system: red, amber, green.
Project report can include:
- Project health indicators
- Notes

Sort Billing Rate
So we can sort the Billing rate card by:
- Name
- Currency
- RateSometimes a person can have multiple billing rates depending on the clients. Would be good if we could sort from low to high or alphabetically.

Client relationship management feature
Hubplanner can really compete on a larger scale if you add CRM feature, which is similar to Resources but for Clients.
Even though you have "Custom fields" that can be changed to Client Management, what will be useful for a lot of businesses is the ability to manage clients as they are the ones who pay money.
Some proposed features include:
- Address book A-Z
- Add, edit, delete clients: name, contact details, position, organisation/company and some custom fields

Sharing Reporting and 'currentUser()' as a shared Report
I as an Admin would like to create a report for 'everyone' and share it, but then when they run it, it is based on their user and not a hard coded Resource = "AN Other" - would be better to have Resource = currentUser() or similar.
Also - I am trying to share a report but they don't have access to reports?

Timesheets - notes (keeping running notes through the day)
Currently when scheduled tasks are actioned we record time (and make a note against that time. As the day progresses, additional work may come in against that same category. It would be better if we could edit the existing time record and note with the additional work. At the moment, if we want to update the time and edit the note, all previous records are blank and the note has to be recreated in full.

Booking Status "Validated | Not validated"
Sometimes we allocate one booking to one resource but it's not validated 100%. We would like a visual help for this. Like a "not checked" icon if not validated and none by default for validated booking

Subscribe to external calendar & automatically book as event, e.g. "unavailable"
In a matrix structure where a single team member might work on multiple projects, it becomes quite troublesome to keep track of resource availability. Subscribing to each resource's calendar e.g., Google, shared iCloud Exchange or basically a source where my Hubplanner project's bookings are NOT synced with (to avoid circular references) would provide me with an accurate, always up-to-date availability overview and greatly facilitate resource assignment for scheduled bookings.

Hours budget for phases
I would like to be able to add an hours budget per phase, in addition to for the entire project. This way, I can book resources to phases and see which phases are over or under budget. Currently it is only possible to see overall project budgets, but projects with many phases, some of which are very far apart (in time) are not easy to look in to.

When subscribing to iCal, I would also like to see phases and milestones
.. as well as bookings. Is this easily done?

Ability to priorities projects based on value of end results
It would be great if there was a way of automatically attaching a priority to a project which could be displayed through reports. If this was based on sale price, volume and probability on final product it would greatly help priorities projects most valuable to the company.
